西方和东方的教育哲学有非常大的不同，西方人鼓励学生培养各方面的兴趣，东方教育只focus在学术成绩。

西方的教育非常注重一个环节 - Critical thinking，不管上什么课，我的教授们都重复一句话：

“Do not believe everything you see, everything you hear, not even the words written on the textbooks or spoken by me.”
